JUNGLE JACK JOINER |
JUNGLE JACK JOINER (Joiner, E. 2002) Tet-Ev-ML-Re-S28"-B5 1/2" Jack Joiner of Dublin, GA saw a seedling blooming in our gardens many years ago. He thought we should register it but we did not and began to breed with it instead. This is many years later and the above cultivar is named for a man that recognized the potential of a seedling. That seedling was lovingly called "Jungle Jack." This cultivar is out of our Jungle Jack line of breeding. The main color is a light mauve-wine with a broad crimson red eye and edges that seem to bleed toward each other. Scapes have 3-way branching with 18 buds. Foliage is broad and dark green. Sets seeds easily here. $20.00 |
